Metin,

Correct. Christian history is more bloody than Muslim history. Anyone care to dispute that, I can give numbers.

ALL major religions, except (I think) Buddhism, have gone through periods of intolerance and bloodshed.

One of the great aspects of America is that the founding documents; eg, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights all defer to God but don't mention Jesus. Therefore, they uphold a foundation that applies to any of the 3 major religions.

In 1792 George Washington was invited to address a synagogue and afterward wrote a letter praising them. He did not write that letter as an insider to an outsider - the content embraces the Jewish members of the congregation as being part of the American fabric.

Thomas Jefferson wrote about "Mohammedans" in a positive light - this is what Muslims were referred to in the 18th C. in the West.

The Crusades were over 500 years before the founding of America. I cannot imagine an American expeditionary force partaking in an effort to "liberate" Jerusalem. We wouldn't ever have done that. America has used a Judeo-Christian and generalized belief in God to motivate our endeavors in the past but never to justify them.

There is indeed a danger in the Middle East that the current conflicts could be seen as the West vs. Islam. The bad guys use Islam to justify terrorism and that percolates down to the uneducated as Us Vs. Islam. This is why it is so important that a moderate Muslim voice needs to be heard condemning radical Islamic terrorism.

Just my opinion.....I can always be wrong :0)

>>>You don't know anything about Islam and Chris and world. Do you know Crusader wars? These wars most bloody wars done on this planet. These wars done for Chris. Your comments are so racist so ugly so stupidly and dangerious.

>>The Crusades had NOTHING TO DO with America. I'm parroting back to you. Your comments are racist, ugly and dangerous.

>I just meant christian history more bloody from muslim history. That shouldn't tie with America.
