>Then you will want to be sure to tune into my new TV show "Pimp my IDE" <g>

I'll certainly watch that show! < g >

>I may be under a mistaken impression, but I always felt the problem with testing and the Fox Team was that they weren't actually using VFP to create client apps and so testing involved things to show at conferences, not things to actually write real-world applications.

After working for MSFT for 6 months as a contractor I can say that I agree with your statement. While I was there I, of course, rallied for improvements to the report writer. I was told something along the lines of .. "We hardly ever use the report writer and I'm sure not many of our clients do either". I went balistic. Of course THEY don't write reports because they aren't writing business apps. But us "clients" who are writing business apps write a ton of reports. Often times we have hundreds of repors in just one app. Multiply that out by the number of apps out there and you have a gazillion reports.

Luckily ... they finally got their head of the sand and realized that it was time for improvements to the report writer. Now if we can just get a few bug fixes to the more serious ones .. I'll be really happy.
