Most of my users were kinda...ummmm... idiots when it came to anything computer related. I always thought that anyone should be able to use it too.
>I included FoxFire in custom VFP apps for years (back when there was a demand for such things). Not once did I encounter a user who could write his or her own queries/reports or define data structures using it. IMO it was a programmer's idea of something that would be easy for users to use.

>>I've used both in the past and had success with both. I think the foxfire one is more robust and has more features, however it's more complicated to implement. If you have power users that are somewhat computer-savy that are going to be creating their own reports, then foxfire would be my choice.

>>>Hi all,

>>> I'm interested in updating some users from their long list of old R&R reports to an updated app accompanied by a reporting tool they could still manage for themselves, even with my help/tutelege when needed. The app will be VFP 9.0 and the back end will continue to be DBFs for the foreseeable future.

>>> So, out there... any experience, opinions, reviews with the two big contenders (to my knowledge): Stonefield Query .OR. FoxFire?
