Yes, perhaps 'overpaid' is the wrong word. There never seems to be enough for my family, but compared to the wages in say . . . India, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mexico etcetera, the American wages are astronomical even though they are where they should be for the American economy. The point is that because of the situation American goods are very expensive in India, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mexico etcetera so it's tough to compete with those countries which have a lower production cost and therefore lower priced goods. And so I asked, "Therefore, there might be a plan to reduce their wages to a level where the USA will be able to export good that will sell at a competitive rate in other countries?"
