Some have invented payday loans with bloodsucking interest rates. Some have invented ways to take houses homes from people who mostly owned them, by offering them to borrow enough money to squander on rope to hang themselves. Now they're saddled with a bunch of worthless houses, and are being helped by our tax money. Their victims aren't helped, that'd be socialism. Others have found a way to maximize profits by firing 10% of their workforce every year, if not more and/or faster. Others yet have maximized profits by minimizing their costs at all costs, thereby driving everybody else out of business, because price always beats quality, right?

Yup. Very soon now the (whole) "middle class" here will be trying to make a living by selling used goods from WalMart on eBay. But I guess there will still be 1 sector of "real" jobs - delivering those goods from seller to buyer.
