I was a Comcast cust till the Comcast/Time Warner purchase of the Adelphia remnants last yr. I lost NFL in that deal. And Time does not offer it even as a purchased channel as you can.

But one of the things I remember bout NFL network on their game replays was it seemed they were using cameras separate from the standard tv feed. As they showed important plays from angles I don't remember seeing in the games I had watched. It was very cool. They showed some angles to emphasize some impt points about the cause of the success/failure of various plays.

>My issue with Comcast is that last year it was offered as a basic channel. This year, you gotta pay extra. Comcast says it's the NFL's fault. I don't know if it is or not. Doesn't really matter as I won't listen to Bryant Bumble nor Chris Collinsworth for free and I certainly won't pay for the "honor".

>The 8 NFL games are just a tiny fraction of what you get with the NFL Network.
>
>Here's what you get:
>
>1) During the week they run NFL Replay, where they replay the top five games (and they cut out most TV timeouts, halftime, etc.)
>
>2) They have daily reports from Adam Schefter, who routinely scoops ESPN and most other NFL reporters with the most up to date (and accurate) news stories
>
>3) A weekly interview with Mike Pereira, the director of NFL officiating - they cover the week's "controversial calls".
>
>4) Interviews you won't see anywhere else
>
>5) A weekly recap show that is much better than the NFL PrimeTime that ESPN has had
>
>6) On a weekly basis they show games and highlights from the past.
>
>The NFL network is not for your casual or even mild fan - it is for hardcore football junkies. I used to think that ESPN had good football coverage - while I still think that way, the NFL Network is better.
