One thing you could do would be to open the print queue for the printer you want to print to, or that you think you're printing to, and pause it. Then print your print job from VFP - either the job will appear in the queue or it won't. If it does, you can resume the queue so the job prints (or just kill it if you don't want to waste the paper).
