I'm assuming that the problem is related to databinding but all appears OK in the debugger. I can't trap the error using TRY...CATCH and subsequent references are OK.

Just a regular method. No timer, event trigger etc....

Is the name of the grid GRID?
Yes (as in THISFORM.Grid). Why might that be a problem?

This may be relevant although the context is a listbox rather than a grid.
It's possible that the cursor is being recreated with the same name but in a different work area. I'll dig a bit on this.
