Just trash talking.

LOL, I know. ;)

The Big 10 should be pretty fun to watch - I love watching Michigan State, and both Indiana and the Badgers look pretty good. In all honesty, I don't think they're the 'best' conference, but they'll surely have a good showing come tournament time. I just looked at Iowa's schedule - brutal!

Then you have conferences like Conference USA with 1 strong team (Memphis, which seeems to have a great shooting percentage) and then not much after that (unless you actually think Houston is a good team...I personally haven't rooted for them since Phi Slamma Jamma back in the early '80's)

If you want "balance", the Big East has 9 teams with 10 or more wins, but granted, conference play has barely started. I was hoping West Virginia would be a sleeper this year, but their loss to Oklahoma last week was troubling. (I admit I'm partial, I'm a big Big East fan)

Tracy will shoot me, but the ACC is severely overrated. Yeah, NC is a great time, surely destined for the dance, but beyond the Tar Heels and maybe Duke, it's a soft conference. Evidence: Kansas is going to walk into Chestnut Hill this Saturday and turn the BC Eagles into the BC Roadkill.

To me, the best overall conference is a tie between the Big 12, the Pac 10, and the SEC. As much as I hate the SEC, I'd actually have to give a slight nod to them.

So here's my "conference" ranking, take it or leave it:

SEC
Big 12
Pac 10
Big East / Big 10 (tie...I think the Big East is better, but the Big 10 has Drew Nietzel)
ACC (hey, at least I think the ACC is better than the Missouri Valley Conference!) :)
