>i have been reasonably happy with vista. when i put it to sleep so it restarts faster i have to restart the network card and copying files is slower but all in all i'm a happy bunny. recently however i changed the startup programs, i stopped one from starting and now every few minutes a get a popup in the bottom right hand corner of the screen telling me that a startup program did not start, no matter how often i click on x it still keeps popping up, how do i stop it?

:) The idea is to keep you on your toes, shouldn't let you get comfortable (no wonder the patent was requested)
