Probably doesn't cut that much on the top. I've watched it on oscilloscope, and the wave isn't exactly sine, it's somewhat cut off, as if it was supposed to be 240 or 260 but is trimmed to 220V. There's probably an explanation to why are we getting a 340 from a 220 in 120
o phase shift, and you are getting a 400 from 240.
(now if you tell me that's because you actually have 260 or that your instrument needs a piano tuner... then never mind this :)

Got that, had to create one myself for the washer-dryer. Luckily, it was less than a meter of cable, so only one new hole in the wall.
