Hi Dennis,

I haven't worked with MereMortals for more than a year now, so I already forgot some details, sorry.

>In MereMortals BO have Save, Cancel, hooks (PreSave, PostSave, etc.), navigation, validation (delegated to Biz. Rules class). These methods called DE class appropriate methods.

>So, there are three (3) objects: Business Object, Business Rules, Data Layer?
>

Yes, if I recall correctly.

>Is the Business Rules class that big a 'responsibility' to merit it as a a 'separate' entity from the Business Object? Just asking...
>

It is a custom based class and each BO has an instance of this class attached where you define all your rules.

>Another question: you mentioned the DE (or data layer) is attached to the Business Object in an earlier post. How? Is it by putting an object reference property?
>

Yes, as far as I recall. In MereMortals you drop the BO on the form and then invoke BO builder. Everything else is done automatically by the builder...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
