Word and Excel don't stress memory anywhere near what VFP does. If the printer driver is stomping on memory, VFP will be THE applcition to find it. Your nest bet is to visit the HP web site and see if there are any newer drivers for that printer, or else use an older driver for that series of printers. The problem is likely a memory conflict between the printer driver and VFP. I had a problem with the HP Laser 6 driver where simply doing a SET("PRINTER",2) would cause a GPF on Windows 95 and crash the whole operating system to the black screen of death.
