When you add an item as a File item, it uses whatever editor is associated with that file type in Windows, so you won't be able to do this using either an explicitly added file, or a Dynamic Folder category (which automatically sets its contents up as files) unless you're willing to use the VFP editor as the default for all TXT files.

You could add a script that opens the specified file, but it'll work oddly. To open it, you'd have to drag onto the desktop.

So I guess the answer to your question is no, not anything I can think of.
