Yes, it is a nice story. I tend to lean toward the "In the Garden of Eden"* story I heard once where the lyric was supposed to be 'Cause i speak rather pompously of love' but he was too blitzed to remember it correctly.
* For those of us that remember, that's the original title of "Inna Godda Davida" (making no claims to spell it correctly), but the singer was so blitzed he honestly thought he was singing "In the Garden of Eden" and the guys in the booth were so blitzed, they thought he was too.
