Yesterday I was the General, today I am the Soldier. I didn't imagine the grunt work to be this muddy.

I've looked through some Web articles (thanks Naomi) and I've been doing research most of the day and it seems that I'm going to run into headaches supporting Foxpro tables through OleDB - the whole idea may be dropped.

But I'm a get it done guy: Right now I'm creating XML files of database table definitions that will be used in code that I'm writing (i.e. using XMLReader), that will create the MSSQL commands that will create the database and associated tables, using SQLCommand(). I guess I'm married to Microsoft yet again!

In one of the posts in another thread, Bonnie said they push people away from Oracle, in favor of MS, because their code is written for MSSQL and, while it shocked me, I discussed with others in the office today and it's completely understandable!

So here I am, writing routines for XML!
