I don't actually have a lab (lost that debate with my wife) but there are 3 in the neighborhood. When out walking my little fluffy dog, it was grabbed by one and threw to the ground (lab not on leash), sniffed and growled at by another (lab not on leash), and "charged at" (says my wife), but a third (lab not on leash).

If another dog killed my dog or severely wounded it, I guarantee you that dog would be dead by my hands whether it is a lab, a poodle, or a pit bull.
