When you build your exe or app VFP should compile anything that changed since last time you built it. Once in a while VFP fails to do this. The easiest way to deal with this is to build from the project manager and choose the Recompile all Files option.
"Source is out of date" is a misleading message. It usually means that the source has been modified more recently than the compiled code. Re-building your application usually takes care of this problem.
>using vfp 5.0. of course i build my application or exec. but what and when should i compile? does vfp 5.0 compile some thing automatically? have never understood this. sometimes in the debugger i get "source out of date", and i have just built the application. would compiling something fix this problem?
