First I said "oh sh*" (not loudly) and then... then I thought the saving may be done while the other form still didn't pop up - i.e. in its init. Would need some fiddling, but generally I think the editbox shouldn't have lost focus before the object it creates instantiates; when it gets back it restores focus to the calling box, restores the .selstart, inserts the text into the .seltext... I've written this down to try these days. Could work.
