The subject of Andrew Jackson is an interesting one. When he left office he said he regretted two things. Having not shot Clay, and hung Calhoun. I think that American politics changed forever when Jackson was elected to office. It set the ground work for what we have today. Let me make clear that I do not think it changed for the better! :)
