>>>I have not met Mlind but it's hard to imagine he was ever happy with the assignment. Given that Microsoft was getting ready to kill VFP, being made its product manager was the equivalent of being sent to Siberia. He must have really ticked someone off, LOL.

I see new VFP users on the UT regularly. Many from Asia and Europe. It would seem that the number of VFP users continues to grow. Even the site that watches development software shows an increase in VFP use. So, I find it a bit odd that MS is letting it go. The cost per seat issue seems to be the argument against VFP at MS, but you would think that issue could have been solved. Perhaps that is at the core of Craig project. On the other hand there has been some interesting and life enhanceing independant projects begun because of the MS action. This text will only re-start another dialogue about VFP so don't reply.

There! I feel better now. :)
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
