The other day I noticed that I hadn't seen any posts from Alan Popow. Strangely enough, that very evening I received an email from his wife...

Alan has been been in the hospital since December 19th - he slipped on some stairs and broke his ankle (in two places) and tore both knee caps. He is likely to be in the hospital/rehab for a couple of months.

Alan's wife also told me that Alan's boss might be getting him a laptop, hopefully with internet access.

I have Alan's wife's email address, along with the mailing address of the hospital in Ontario - for anyone who'd like to contact them, feel free to send me an email.
