By glancing through this code it seems to me that it's designed for tables and not for arrays as the RowSource. In your case you would need to add a new value into your array.

Then you obviously did not glance at it very closely.

The code that I posted will work with any RowSourceType. The point of my class is that it allows you to bind the combo to values that are NOT in its internal list - i.e., you do not have to add the value to its RowSource.
