Great.. more consiracy theories.

The full story is that when Randy Brown retired, his job as Program Manager need to be filled. YAG was running the "Visual Studio Data Tools Team", which is where VFP was located. The VFP team had been working with the .Net members of the team to help them learn how VFP works and to take some VFP functionality and put it in .Net. Since Milind was a PM on the .Net side, he was tasked with being PM on the VFP team in addition to his .Net duties. He also took over some of Ken's responsibilities, but not all of them. Milind was never Prodcut Manager, which is what Ken's job was. IMO, he did a great job. He attended Southwest Fox one year (2006?).

>Between this and Craig's equally deflective reply to a days-old message, I sense an organized response. On a Saturday, a day when governments and other large organizations traditionally drop unwelcome news.

>Is this Microsoft's way of announcing to us that our product manager is gone, never really was, and our community is yesterday's toilet paper to them?

>This never would have happened if YAG or Ken Levy were alive.
