Grandstanding. It's in their blood. Not to excuse the roid users and other cheaters who have damaged baseball's reputation, but you're right, this should not be something for Congress to involve itself in. They know there will be cameras there, that's all.

Why the heck is Congress involved in this? OK, so steroid use is illegal (except when prescribed by a doctor), so yeah, I guess there should be an investigation into it ... but isn't that better handled by law enforcement agencies (like DEA perhaps).
