I've been using Multiple screens for years and our users love them. But you sometimes encounter some funny issues like the one you've encountered:

One disadvantage I have found it when preview reports. Code presently spans all 3 monitors at once, but user is able to resize. Just a pita for them.

By default when you maximize a Window it's maximized to a single monitor. However depending on your graphics card and the utilities and drivers supplied with it, some drivers can fool Windows and present all Monitors combined as a single Monitor. There are advantages and disadvantages to this. One advantage is that the taskbar is stretched out over all monitors. A disadvantage is that forms maximize stretched over all monitors aswell, which I generally don't like.

So if you encounter these kind of issues, check the settings in the drivers/utilities installed with the Graphic Card.
