I have been sending email programmatically through VFP apps using Outlook as the client within an MS Exchange Network. 1-2 years ago there was an Office upgrade that added a layer of security to Outlook through service patches. The effect was to force user intervention to confirm any programmatic email. Our solution was a kludge, to strip the service patches from Outlook. No problem.

The systems people now want to remove legacy systems, which will mean upgrading Office and the return of the security problem.

I've found a couple of VB solutions which purport to handle email without a client, but I am no VB programmer and don't know how one would tie them into VFP applications painlessly.

Is there a client-less or other-client VFP-compatible solution to this which anyone can point me to? Need to send email programmatically from VFP6 apps in an MS Exchange environment without user intervention.

Thanks in advance
