>The problem here is all the people who don't have health insurance.

Tell me about it. My company, who I really enjoy working for, is based in SC and their coverage does not reach up into my neck of the woods. They send me additional money each month as "health compensation" but it just covers my precriptions. With diabetes and two stents already under my belt, I'm basically one event away from disaster. Health covereage for me would run $1,700 per month and that's with a $5,000 per year deductible. My company is working on trying to get the couple of us up in NC covered, but we have preexisting conditions and they are a small company; we skew the rate tables and they can't justify what the increase would be. Oh, well, just have to make sure I stay healthy by exercising regularly, being careful what I eat and maintaining a healthy lifestyle like I have all these years. (trying to supress laughter...)
