it is always dangerous to lump a whole lot of people under one banner. Muslim religion has very high expectations of moral and civil behavior, but just like Christians, Jews, etc. muslims, too, can interpret their old scriptures in very, very many different ways, and actually feel justified killing innocent people.

Heck, Muhammad considered himself as the last prophet in a long line of highly moral people/prophets from Abraham to Jesus, and he incorporated a lot of the Christian philosophy and moral code into his own teachings.

Just because one Muslim blows him/herself up and kills a whole lot of people doesn't mean that all Muslims are about to do the same. Not too long ago the Christians went killing, raping and destroying pretty much anything that stood in their way as they crusaded towards Bethlehem. It was absolutely horrifying what they did to the Turks, the Arabs, the Jews, etc., and what they did was mostly politically motivated and completely opposite to Bible's basic teachings (see: 10 Commandmends). Does it mean that all Christians were/are morally bankrupt murderers?

I'm not a Muslim myself, but I know enough of Islam to hold it in very high regard as far as religions go...
