Hi all

My form has an editbox in a grid for a memo field (varchar on the backend). Just pressing enter in this editbox and GETFLDSTATE() returns a 2.

Why does the buffer get dirty by just pressing enter? This is not so for character fields.

I have checked the values in the remote view and as returned by OLDVAL() they are both the same.

Please advise.
