Look at the border between India and Pakistan. Both sides are not Muslim.

What these three belief systems have in common is they are generally pacifistic, unlike Islam whose founder came from a military background. No doubt there are as many Christian "nuts" as Islamic "nuts" but they aren't tolerated, are prosecuted, looked down upon, and not accepted. As a moderate Muslim that you say you are, I think you have a responsibility for your religion and whatever it takes to right its wrongs.
