Suicide bombing started with the Japanese. It took a Persian named Khomeini to make suicide bombing acceptable then that Japanese philosophy was accepted by the Palestinian Muslims considering the overwhelming power of the Israeli armed forces.
Even now the majority of Muslim scholars do not approve of suicide bombing. Suicide is forbidden in Islam similar to Judaism and Christianity.
