I don't believe he will find it written as such literally. I think it comes from Al-Taqiyya - only to be used if it furthers the cause of Islam. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think the misconception stems from Quran 3:28 and 16:106 because it is misused by some since it permits believers to conceal their faith when threatened (if believers fear for their safety they may use deception to protect themselves).
