Take for example this advice: "You need to seek help Naomi. You aren't going to get the help you need here. You need to find a qualified professional - there ARE things that can be done. You don't have to live like this. It's not going to just go away if you wait it out. Seek help."

Peter, if you truly believe that Mike C's advice is inappopriate and harsh, then I'd hate to see your reaction when someone actually says something that IS harsh.

You can't have it both ways....you can't have someone come up here on New Year's Eve last year and make statements with overtones of suicide, and also expect that someone isn't going to say EXACTLY what Mike C. said.
