You really shouldn't be running into those issues if you're careful about what you put in your code or classes. I do ALL my development in VFP9, but a large majority of the code is compiled and runs under VFP6 with no problems. Ive been doing this for years (and used VFP7 and 8 the same way). The reason for this is the workstations are too numerous and probably too weak to be worth the effort of upgrading (W98 with 64 to 256MB for the most part).

What specific properties are you running into the "out of bounds"?
