Remote Desktop Connections passwords are stored in *.rdp files

>Sometime back I had formatted my computer, though I had backed up the Remote Desktop connection files I lost the passwords connected to the RDP files. Where are the passwords stored, probably I could export the registry section so that I do not loose the password in future.
