I tried the Microsoft ODBC for oracle in the code and I can connect to the dabase instance but have the following problem:
doing a query with fields of regular datatype (INTEGER, Char, varchar, number, etc) will give a result 1, As soon as I include a field of datatype LOB, this will result in a -1, meaning that there's no results to be retrieved/shown.

That's my findings up to now.
