If you had reacted to some moralistic comment and had done so in English and had also provided some argumentation, then it would have been okay. But you made the remark in Dutch in a subthread that contains no moral comments at all. In the subthread I showed some people here some of my own emotions hoping that they'd better understand what had happened.
Also the remark you made (only indirectly addressed, but clearly about me) is idiom (an expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements) and it's primarilly used to offend. And it wasn't the first time.
