Hi Dragan,

I watched & was unimpressed. Bad logic; arguing from the lessor to the greator.

Here's one from my own life. Not an answered prayer, per se, but interesting nonetheless. When I was first a christian, back around 1970-71 it was the "in thing' or 'good' (read: spiritual) to be poor. I'd disagree with that now (neiher poverty or great wealth bestow 'goodness or take it away). Anyway, I was dumpster diving behind a five & dime store and the gal was passing me boxes to place in another dumpster. As I was about to throw a box I heard a voice that said, "Open up the box." Startled, I asked the gal if she heard what I heard. She said she did not. So, I opened the box. Inside was a crocheted cross.

Now, please explain how my brain knew that something was in that box, which box and at exactly the right moment (as I was passing the specific box - one of many) to cause me to hear that voice.

I still have that croched cross. I can send you a picture of it (if I can remember where I put it).

The problem with videos, such as you referenced, is that they start from the final conclusion and work backwards. I can just as easily start with a gallon of milk and argue FOR the existence of God, using the same shoddy logic.

Regardless, let's not get off on a tangent and let's stick with the spirit of the original post; What really matters to you?

best,

DD

PS - Nice to see you're still here. :)

>>Charles,

>>Thanks. Mostly it was to make sure Beane knew I was going to harass him as soon as he got over his 'event'. (You ready to rumble Mike? *bg*)
>>
>>The other reason I decided to absent myself from the forum for a while is that, like Mike's proclivity for the sauce, I have to make sure I don't get swallowed up in all the fun going on around here. I expect to drop by every so often and toss a thought bomb or two just to get folks arguing over the same old territory one more time - far too easy. (You'd think folks would have figured out how to move some of these discussions forward by now *G*) Imagine, some still do not believe in God (they will some day - I hope not in a bad way) and some still actually belive that being a liberal/socialist is a good thing. Tsk tsk..
>>
>>How's that? *G*
