>I'd prefer we not get off on a tangent. My intent was to a) explain as succinctly as possible 'What mattered' to me and b) demonstrate just how easily it was to get folks like Dragan to respond *BG*.

As you can see, I respond. I'm not a no-book-thumper going around and inserting my religion-free agenda in unrelated threads. I'm just presenting the unrepresented other side.

>As I mentioned in a subsequent post, the whole idea is to have a goal in life that is larger than one's self. I can say that without provoking the militant anti-God folks but it is SO much more fun to provoke them. And easy too. *chuckle*

Actually, I am grateful for the rush of adrenalin I got today (but not directly from you, it was from Nadya's message - what is it, nobody had the guts to confess how women are mistreated in that single book of yours?). I was missing some excitement.

>I say that without the slightest bit of animus. I like Dragan and it is really fun to tweak him. :)

Welcome anytime. But, you know, you'll have to decide one day what tool would you want to use in the dispute: logic and reasoning, or "just read that book and it will become clear to you" and then it turns out that the book is full of propagandistic dirty tricks (like Howie's link today).

>The 'trick' is arriving at a)common word definitions, b)rational, reasonable and accurate approaches to provable facts and c) the willingness to be wrong.

You have the latter galore, and well, so do I :).

Oh, you meant willingness to confess when wrong?
