This has been discussed by Doug Hennig in the June issue of FoxTalk. The trick is to add the OCX control at runtime to your form. So there is no line added to your VCX or SCX. That's for the future, when you'll design new forms.

For the existing ones Paul Vlad has the only solution that I know of.
