Ahhhh history and its treatment of women. From Herodotus' use of women to denote the state of the culture to Medieval times when men were educated and women were taught what was deemed necessary for them to know (historical documents and writings tend to note how a woman was permitted to learn something). Christendom over the centuries has been such a supporter of women from Luther and Calvin to the Pope...
