>>Nadya, what is your issue? You and Peter have got to be the most insecure developers I have ever dealt with. I found another solution prior to you asking me (repeatedly) to try yours. I'm good with what I got. Stop being childish and do not send me any more private messages about crap like this. It's a waste of time for both of us.

>The question of "was the solution I posted used or not" - I don't know, and most of the time, I don't care. Yes, I'm getting a bit ticked off with you not responding to any of the banter between Thomas Ganss and me in this thread, but hey, we're having fun and you're not in on it - too bad for you :). OTOH, I sometimes get stars from you for something I thought could be done by one pinky finger - but the difficulty is in the eye of the beholder. If it was so easy, you wouldn't be asking, right? So... I think we're cool, and Nadya should have a drink with us someday, if she doesn't mind.

I see the stars simply as a way to mark something as a solution. Actually, I don't think I have even read any posts that weren't sent directly to me in this thread. I was under the gun to get something working for a meeting I had and I didn't really care how it worked. There not always time to use the best solution. Sometimes just a solution works just fine. The whole "why didn't you use mine" and "people are spending time working on this for you and you are not even trying it" gets to me though. The whole point is to ask for help. I don't need all the baggage that comes with it. I've always thought that your solutions, while not always elegant, were creative and succinct. I've seen you do things in one line that replaced 10 lines of something I was doing. I would give you 4 starts at times if possible. I'm not sure I could sit through a beer with Nadya. Sounds like it would be a bit of work. Plus, I would say something smart (or not so) and she would probably never stop slapping me.
