For the benefit of others I post what Viv found (and what I probably would never figure out myself). One of the textareas was called 'siblings' and it matches JavaScript function with the same name. Thus the form gave me an error in IE7.

I haven't yet tested it fully, but looks like this is it. Once I changed the name, I'm no longer getting this error.
