>But the thing here is that the original question was not formulated correctly. Nevertherless I figured that Jay was after parsing the color into its RGB components and thus sent him a link. He sort of dismissed it and sent several people shooting in the wrong direction. Then Marcia posted the same thing (essentially) and got starred. I found this a bit unfair.

...sent several people "shooting in the wrong direction." Huh? I dismissed it because I had a solution. Why do you even give a damn? Isn't it up to me to choose what I want for whatever reason I want? I was in a hurry just trying to get it to work. You spend WAY too much time attempting to think why others do what they do.

>And in case of Peter he did spend at least half of an hour translating comments and polishing his solution and as a result got twitted <g> I found it unfair as well.

Peter got twitted because he was an ass. How someone chooses to answer, or the time they put into it, is on them. They obviously have the time and motivation to do it. Do they think that no one else is helping? You really are something.

>I guess me and Peter have something in common - we both have an extreme sense of justice and feel unfairness more intensly than others.

Intensely? More like with a neurosis, borderline psychosis, intensity.

>But I don't really have a problem with it, just a slight unpleasant feeling.
