Last April I bought a new computer with Vista on it. It was a royal pain to get things the way I wanted but then everything has settled down and I like it. It will not load VS2002, or VS2003 but VS 2005 works fine. SQL Server 2000 will not load but SQL Server 2005 will. PageMaker will not load etc., etc. etc.!

I would bet that loyal Microsoft customers (worshipers) are standing in line at this very minute to be the first to buy the new proposed OS. :)

Then you will hear the usual reports about it – how it is better than motherhood and apple pie, followed by reality ^#@@*#&$%^@^! :)

But wait the service pack due in 2010 will resolve all the OS problems. That statement will be followed by the announcement about a new Microsoft OS to be released in 2011. I have seen this story repeat itself for over 25 years. :)
