good traits in any programmer ;-)
but as you have the "red book" of data crunchers, wasn't there a generator ? AFAIR there were sources in C, Pascal and Fortran and today probably only C(C++). Just build a dll and call it - or if you wanna get fancy, link it up into a .fll for vfp internal discovery.
