I attended a Baptist wedding once. The minister gave a long speach about his move from Virginia to Orlando. The essesence was that his wife was opposed to the idea. Then he allowed her to make up her own mind. Once having been granted the freedom, she was now free to obey.
I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now.
OTOH --- if your wife if fine with this idea and is happy in her life, who am I to quibble.
