Those are very common errors of lingo laziness. Repetition on television news is also irritating. Such phrases as: Out there, kumnup (Coming up), 'various different'/'many different' are constantly being used. Using 'then' instead of 'than' occurs on the UT. And don't you just love the 'healthy meal' that gets touted regularly. How can a meal be healthy if everything on the plate is dead? It may be nutricious, delectible, tasty, sumptuous, or even satisfying, but it is not healthy. Where are you at? is another favorite. How about, 'the car was blue in color' (As opposed to blue in mood?) Yup I have went to journalizm skool and now I is a reporder.
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
