Would locfile("*.*,"*") work for number 1? There's a book about VFP and Office Automation (by Hentzenwerke??, I think) that has a section on using Outlook from within VFP. I noticed that some of the handles didn't work as well with newer versions of Outlook, but it's definitely a good resource to check out.
